Helping chemists worldwide to improve the quality of their manuscripts |
| Home |
I understand that you might have reservations about sending your unpublished work to a stranger for editing. As a chemist myself, I understand that often scientists don’t want details of their results to be disseminated until their articles are published in the literature. Because of this sensitivity, I make the following statements and promises:
Mine is a one-person small business. I am the sole proprietor. No one else will see your manuscript.
I do not work for anyone at a university or industrial laboratory.
I will not tell anyone that I am editing, or have edited, your manuscript.
I will not discuss the details of the science in your manuscript with anyone but you.
I routinely scan my computer for viruses using up-to-date software.
There is no need to make an acknowledgement in your article for the work that I have done, but you may do so if you really want. It’s good publicity for me!
I will destroy my copies of your manuscripts as soon as I receive payment from you. (But I would love to receive a reprint of your article if you can spare one!)
